TIA is a community art collective created to turn roadside garbage into hideous art to promote awareness about the environmental effects of litter. Through street performance, that incorporates trash from the roadside and recycled materials, TIA makes giant theatrical puppets for your visual enjoyment.
Trash Into Art has performed at many festivals and parades throughout Western Maine.
We are available for parties and school functions, as well as able to hold workshops for school and library programs. Become a part of this exciting art form, learn to build puppets and perform using environmental issues as the message.
